The Salvation
Church of Almighty God
Salvation in the current age (the Age of Kingdom) is by works (being obedient to the words of Almighty God)
Jesus Christ’s Redemption done in the age of grace was only Partially Completed. It is to be Completed by Accepting the chastisement and judgment by the words of Almighty God
Scripture References: None from the Bible (See CAG’s arguments and explanations below)
- The Age of Kingdom began with the second incarnation of Christ to complete Jesus’ unfinished work and save mankind. In answering why this first incarnation of God in Jesus Christ was not sufficient, CAG’s female Christ explains, “Why do I say that the meaning of incarnation was not completed in Jesus’ work? Because the Word did not entirely become flesh. What Jesus did was only one part of God’s work in the flesh; He only did the work of redemption and did not do the work of completely gaining man. For this reason, God has become flesh once again in the last days.”[1]

- CAG quotes Luke 17:24-25 and asserts that “Son of Man” means the second incarnation of Christ. (See the Doctrine of Incarnation)
- CAG denies salvation is obtained by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone for all mankind and all generations. It claims that people who live in the Age of Kingdom, i.e., the last days since the day of the second incarnation of Christ in 1991, must obey the teachings of the Almighty God to be saved completely. The second incarnation and the teachings written in “The Word Appears in the Flesh” hold the key to heaven.
Christianity
Jesus Christ’s Redemption is 100% Sufficient – by Grace alone through Faith alone, in Christ alone
“8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Eph. 2:8-9, ESV)
Scripture References: Hebrews 10:10, 12, 14.
- The redemption of Christ is fully sufficient for all mankind.
- Jesus Christ offered His sacrifice once for sins and as sanctified and perfected for all time. In the book of Hebrews, it says “By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. . . but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God. . . For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified” (Heb. 10:10, 12, 14). Christ’s work done on the cross was completed and once for all people and all generations.
- There is no one who does not sin but genuine believers do not sin continuously (1 Kings 8:46; 1 Chron. 6:36; Eccles. 7:20; 1 John 5:18, 3:9, 2:1), but Christians who committed sins have the promise of forgiveness (1 John 1:9; Ezek. 3:21).
- Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He gave His disciples the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations and He will be with them until the end of the age. Jesus also promised the Holy Spirit to come and be with the disciples, i.e., the believers in Christ, forever. Jesus says, “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you” (John 14:16-17).
CAG's Additional Arguments and Explanations
The second incarnation and the teachings written in “The Word Appears in the Flesh” hold the key to heaven. In answering the question: “Why Is It Said That the Two Incarnations Complete the Significance of the Incarnation?” the CAG answered the question as follow: “The first incarnation was to redeem man from sin, to redeem him by means of the fleshly body of Jesus, that is, He saved man from the cross, but the corrupt satanic disposition still remained within man. The second incarnation is no longer to serve as a sin offering but rather to save fully those who were redeemed from sin. This is done so that those who have been forgiven may be delivered from their sins and made fully clean, and by attaining a changed disposition, break free of Satan’s influence of darkness and return before the throne of God. Only in this way can man be fully sanctified.”[1]

Here is how the CAG explain its version of salvation in the last days: “All those who accept the second incarnation of God will be led into the Age of Kingdom, and be able to personally accept the guidance of God. Though Jesus did much work among man, He only completed the redemption of all mankind and became man’s sin offering, and did not rid man of all his corrupt disposition……. If people remain in the Age of Grace, then they shall never be free of their corrupt disposition, let alone know the inherent disposition of God……. Of course, if you cling to views of the past, and reject or deny the fact of the second incarnation of God, then you shall remain empty-handed and acquire nothing, and ultimately be guilty of opposing God. Those who obey the truth and submit to the work of God shall come under the name of the second incarnate God—the Almighty.”[2] “Of course, if you cling to views of the past, and reject or deny the fact of the second incarnation of God, then you will remain empty-handed, acquiring nothing, and ultimately you will be pronounced guilty of opposing God. Those who are able to obey the truth and submit to the work of God shall be claimed under the name of the second incarnate God—the Almighty. “ [2.1] (A variation of translation noted on Google e-book)

- “Though Jesus did much work among man, He only completed the redemption of all mankind and became man’s sin offering; He did not rid man of all his corrupt disposition. Fully saving man from the influence of Satan not only required Jesus to become the sin offering and bear the sins of man, but it also required God to do even greater work to rid man completely of his satanically corrupted disposition. And so, now that man has been forgiven of his sins, God has returned to the flesh to lead man into the new age, and begun the work of chastisement and judgment. This work has brought man into a higher realm. All those who submit under His dominion shall enjoy higher truth and receive greater blessings. They shall truly live in the light, and they shall gain the truth, the way, and the life. If people remain stuck in the Age of Grace, then they shall never be rid of their corrupt disposition, let alone know the inherent disposition of God. If people always live in the midst of an abundance of grace, but do not have the way of life that allows them to know God or to satisfy Him, then they will never truly gain Him in their belief in Him. This type of belief is pitiful indeed. When you have finished reading this book, when you have experienced each step of the work of God incarnate in the Age of Kingdom, you will feel that desires you have had for many years have finally been realized. You will feel that only now have you truly seen God face to face; only now have you gazed upon His countenance, heard His personal utterances, appreciated the wisdom of His work, and truly sensed how real and almighty He is. You will feel that you have gained many things that people in times past had never seen nor possessed. At this time, you will clearly know what it is to believe in God, and what it is to conform to God’s will. Of course, if you cling to views of the past, and reject or deny the fact of the second incarnation of God, then you will remain empty-handed, acquiring nothing, and ultimately you will be pronounced guilty of opposing God. Those who are able to obey the truth and submit to the work of God shall be claimed under the name of the second incarnate God—the Almighty.” [3]

Clear Thinking Exercises
- What are meanings of Justification, Sanctification, and Glorification? All true believers in Christ are saved (justified by faith) in Jesus Christ, not by doing good works. (Eph. 2:8-9) Then, true believers in Christ (as disciples) will grow spiritually by means of doing good works through a life long process of sanctification, i.e. making mistakes, and then confess, repent, and change. (Eph. 2:10; 1 John 1:9)
- Doing good works is not the way of salvation. The Apostle Paul says: ” 2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? 3 Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?” (Gal. 3:2-3, NIV)
- Let’s walk by the Spirit! The Apostle Paul says, “25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.” (Gal. 5:25, NASB95)
Why does “The Word Appears in the Flesh” discredit the Apostle Paul? Here are some examples:
- “[Paul] disobeyed My inner guidance and enlightenment, and thus all that he had done in the past was futile; in other words, the crown of glory he spoke of had become empty words, a product of his own imagination, for even today he is still subjected to My judgment within the captivity of My bonds.” (pdf, 553); Google e-book, page 552.
- “All that [Paul] spoke of was vague and invisible, things like going to the third heaven, the ascension to the throne, and the crown of righteousness. He focused on that which was external: on status and lecturing people, on showing off his seniority, being touched by the Holy Spirit, and so on. Nothing he pursued was real, and much of it was fantasy, and thus it can be seen that all that is supernatural, such as how much the Holy Spirit touches people, the great joy that people enjoy, going to the third heaven, or the extent to which they enjoy their regular training, the extent to which they enjoy reading God’s words—none of this is real.”(pdf, 745 & 1248); Google e-book, page 1251.
- “Paul could not speak on behalf of the Holy Spirit, and neither was he a prophet, much less did he see the visions that John beheld. His epistles were written for the churches of Ephesus, Philadelphia, Galatia, and other churches. And thus, the Pauline epistles of the New Testament are epistles that Paul wrote for the churches, and not inspirations from the Holy Spirit, nor are they the direct utterances of the Holy Spirit. They are merely words of exhortation, comfort, and encouragement that he wrote for the churches during the course of his work.” (pdf, 1869 & 1132); Google e-book, 1875.
