Non-Created Beings
Church of Almighty God
There is only one God
God is eternal and self-existent
God created all others beings except non-created beings
CAG’s theology is monotheistic; and God is a non-created being. Here is an excerpt from “The Word Appears in the Flesh“: “God is meant to be revered and obeyed, because His being and His disposition are not the same as those of a created being and are above those of a created being. God is self-existent and everlasting, He is a non-created being, and only God is worthy of reverence and obedience; man is not qualified for this.”[1]

As noted above, the phrase “God is self-existent and everlasting” was not in the earlier version of CAG’s scripture. Besides God, there are other non-created beings described in “The Word Appears in the Flesh”. God is the creator and has the authority and power over created beings and “non-created beings, such as God’s messengers and angels…..”[2] CAG followers believe Almighty God commands all things and holds sovereignty over all things, including visible and invisible, created, and non-created beings. The CAG’s Holy book says,
“He possesses the unique authority that holds sovereignty over human fate, and so only the Creator is man’s unique Master. God’s authority holds sovereignty not only over created humanity, but also over non-created beings that no human can see, over the stars, over the cosmos. This is an indisputable fact, a fact that truly exists, which no person or thing can change.”[3]

Christianity
God is One, Revealed in Three Persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Three Persons in One Nature)
God is Spirit, Eternal, and Self-existent (Pure Actuality with no potentiality)
God is the creator of all things, visible and invisible.
- “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” (Gen. 1:1, ESV)
- “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men.” (John 1:1-4, ESV)
- “Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.” (Heb. 1:1-3, ESV)
- “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” (Col. 1:15-17, ESV)
- “Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.” (Isaiah 40:28, ESV)
- “Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.” (Psalm 90:2, ESV) - “Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.” (1 Cor. 8:6, ESV)
Clear Thinking Exercises
- Besides God, if there are other non-created beings in the Universe as it says in the “The Word Appears in the Flesh” (referenced above), where did these non-created beings such as angels and stars come from?
- If non-created beings are self-existent, are they part of God, or the extensions of God?
- What other religions teach that the cosmos is self-existent or eternal?
- Were these non-created beings identified as created beings in the Age of Grace and became or changed into non-created beings in the Age of Kingdom?
